The virtual reality revolution has arrived and it’s ushering in a new era of experiential learning set within true-to-life task rehearsal spaces. Our latest ATD blog post offers five reasons why the time is now to begin developing learning experiences for high-end VR. It’s a preview of my talk at ATD International in Atlanta this spring.
At the Gronstedt Group, we’re helping our Fortune 500 clients re-envision learning as we enter this new technology era of virtual and mixed reality. We’ve developed VR experiences on topics ranging from technical skills to customer empathy and demoed VR to 100s of business and learning professionals. They have all been blown away by the experience of feeling fully present in a completely different environment and by the enormous opportunities this technology opens up for performance-based learning. Needless to say, in addition to our VR work, we’re busily developing simulations, games and microlearning solutions for phones, tablets and computer screens as well.
